From the Principal's Desk…

Wada is a Taluka in the Palghar District of the state of Maharashtra. The biggest challenge at such places is that education comes at a distant number when it comes to the basics of life. An educational institute's survival in rural areas is difficult because even free education does not find true seekers.
With such humongous challenges on hand, Shikshak Sanchalit Shikshan Sanstha (a fifty-year-old trust) runs a degree college Dr ShantilalDhanjiDevsey Arts College & Commerce & Science College, Wada, affiliated with Mumbai University.
Having taken charge of the reins of this prestigious organization, I feel privileged and blessed. I understand the challenges in store for students as well as teachers. I wish to express my gratitude to the management of the college for providing me with this wonderful platform to put my abilities to task and enrich the existing system. I take this opportunity to appreciate the efforts of Shri N.K.Phadke sir (Ex-Principal of this college), the existing teaching and non-teaching staff, for delivering their best effort always. With limited resources at our disposal, our college ensures no compromise is made for the quality of education imparted. At my level, I would continue the traditional values, with a tweak as and when required, add modern techniques and uplift the quality of education.
Being fully aware and having accepted the situation with strong positive intent, I take charge of this institution to take it to the next level by adopting an inclusive approach, redefining traditional education through modern thoughts, and improvising the overall system with extensive application of information technology.
